Week 8 Assignment 1

This week I chose some pictures to use gimp effects on with lighting and effects. The first photo of tinker I did using Gimp colors, lighting and starburst. The second one of Tinker I enhanced the sharpness and brightened the leaves around him.

Week 7 - Photosynth and Graphic Image Manipulation

This week I just layered and used some cut outs for some images I took in my back yard.

Week 6 Landscape Photography

Landscape photography typically is just a landscape photograph with no man made obstructions in the photograph. Depth should be achieved by combining foreground,  middle ground, and background objects. Additionally, lighting is important for the overall composition of the photograph.

 

Composition and aesthetics Assignment 3

For the framing assignment I chose various windows and entry ways in my house. I don't go out very much in winter and the snow and ice has been horrible. I thought that the pictures turned out to be okay.   My puppy Jynxer ended up in some of the shots and I feel as though he feels the same as I do about the snow and ice as I do. The concept of framing adds a nice touch to photos. I never really thought about it or did much follow up on the subject until this class.
